You make the Irish proud. Thanks for sharing your many talents with this group.
Grand daughter's birthday is st Patrick's day so I always try to do some shamrocks for her. Thank you for this beauty.
Thank you, again, for this lovely design. Looks like it's done in variegated thread - that's how I'm going to try it, too, anyway.
Good luck with your rag quilt.

If you can do these beautiful flowers you can probably knock out a quilt in no time! Have fun with it.
Note: this is not a Shamrock (has to have 3 leaves) so it must be a 4-leaf Clover! Love it whichever! thank you! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
"The true Irish Shamrock, as identified by Nathaniel Colgan c. 1893 is a clover. It is not one of any or many clovers, it is one species, collected from a majority of counties at that time and with the exception of a very few plants, the majority were Trifolium repens or a form of this plant - White clover also known as Dutch Clover". ...'From Ireland' © Jane Lyons, Dublin, Ireland
and in my research I discovered that the luck of the Irish is symbolized by the 4-leaf clover....so call it whatever, I am not splitting anymore hairs over this!
thanks so much, Vicki for this lovely design ~ I can use all the luck I can get! Hugs and *'s for all, Deb
I've always heard that a 4leaf clover is very lucky. Thank you for this lovely design.
This is gorgeous!!! Just a note though from someone whose grandmother's name was Rose Murphy (as Irish as could be)......a shamrock only has three leaves.
this is a lucky one, and in research I read there have been some found with over 50 leaves, however rare......
This is the nicest looking shamrock I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing with us.
Another goodie...thank you so much. I love making rag quilts and I hope you do too.
thanks for all the lovely designs/flowers and good luck with your quilt. Never made one so the first will come soner or later
I love this since my birthday is St. Patricks Day. Thank you very much.
