First WELCOME TO CUTE.
3D should read a variety of formats. VP3, vip, hus being the preferred for me. You should also be able to use jef, the previous pes verision and a few others. Save your designs to an external drive in folders that work for you. Example, animals and maybe a sub folder for dogs, cats etc. This will make designs easier to find as you build your design files. I do not know about wilcom but with 3D program you open 3D and on the top left of your screen there is a "book" click on the book and it will open your 3D Organizer. On the left of the screen find where you have saved the zip file or design and open. If the design is not in a zip file, then you should be able to see the design by clicking on a folder. If it is in a zip file, click on the zip file and another folder will come up. Click on it and there are your designs. From there you can highlight the design or designs and click on the "EDIT" at the top left area of the page. Go down to "copy" or "move" design and another box will pop up. Locate where you want the design and save it. I hope this helps. If you want, you can send me a PM.
If you are trying to "see" the designs through your Vista or Windows programs, you can't. You have to save your designs in a folder (unzip them or not) and then open 3d, use the 3d program to open that folder and then they should show up. I have several friends that just couldn't get that part right! Linda
Having 3D you can download VIP or HUS, or VP3 although that's not available on this site. Once you have them on your computer you can open them in 3D and sent them to a card, diskette or USBstick. If you can't get those formats try any other, 3D will convert them without trouble -I had 3D till May last year and never had any problems with that.
Hi and welcome to Cute. I presume that if you are using Viking 3D you have a Viking machine. You need to download HUS as this is the format for Viking. Maybe you are downloading designs that are larger than the hoop on the machine? Knowing Cute someone will be able to sort out the problem. Keep trying and you will get there and then wonder why you had problems. Good Luck
