Completely understand. I go into hospital for major surgery on Feb 6th and will be out of action for 6-8 weeks after. So I had all these projects and things planned to do/finish before Feb and you wouldn't want to know. I got a stomach bug that put me out of action for over a week, then I catch this other lurgy that has knocked me through a loop and doesn't want to leave after 9 days. My head has been splitting, ears aching , throat full of razor blades, this whole time and I can't do any of the things I had planned to do. Can hardly bear to sit at the pc.
Like you, I am now so overwhelmed with the things I need to do, but can't I am even more depressed than ever.
I just hope I will be ok to at least use my laptop after the surgery, though being cut down the front won't be very comfortable will it??
Oh Well! April is looking like a good month! LOL!!!
Hang in there, one job at a time!
Make a list and start with the most difficult project first, once you get through that, the others will get easier and easier.
Then you can come down under and help clear my UFO's.
LOLOL!!!!
Worse thing is I had planned to start a serious exercise program over the last 4 weeks but when I breathe I cough, so that plan went right out the window and I won't have lost any weight before my surgery. Damn and blast!!! LOL!!!
Poor you that must feel bad???Never been on that side of the fence lol hugs carolyn
Would rather be sewing than packing to move. Then there is still the cleaning (not too much right now) laundry and dinners to do. Found I still need a couple minutes just to sit and think what to do next and the cuties help give me that break. Prioritize what is most important and start from there.
Makes no logical sense. I am behind more years in projects than I have owned my machine!!!
Just ordered my fabric for the Uganda project...
just saying.
I know that feeling. Maybe I had better start on all the unfinished stuff from last year first. I think about all this but I too have no energy right now. Must be the weather!! Hugs, Mary
yep, would love summer or spring can start again. Then I have more energy to do things. days are longer, more sunshine,.. now it's dark at 17:30 pm and raining today too :-(
he he he to many UFOs of all kind,
if it does not make me smile anymore I take it to church, someone will smile and finish it and it goes to the charity fare in Dezember - no regets just smiles on both sides - win win
hi, "welcome to the club" I would say. I also have so many things I would like to try out; but when you have a job and a household it is hard. So many things always needs to be done. Haven't visit my father for some time, my friends,.. actually I have only Sunday pm left; and then I want to sew.
Welcome to my world. And I have a 1yr old GGD right now until tomorrow, which is quilting at the church. Who said were retired?
I do understand. I'm the same way - mainly too little energy. Is there a project that really NEEDS to be done now? If not, just pick one and go to it. I have two I need to finish and need to prescribe this to myself! Hang in there!!! Anne in Alabama
Anne, where in Alabama do you live? I live in Rainsville, near Fort Payne, in Dekalb county.
I know the feeling, but I always think; IMAGINE I HAD NOTHING TO DO!!!!!! I think that would be far worse!
Oh yes, I have neighbours with nothing to do. They're always flitting up the coast, off on a cruise, out to the wineries, they're leaving for the US & UK on Friday
And they just bought a Winnebago to 'Flit' around Australia.
me too! So I start them all the ones I like best get finished first. Sad to say, but I love quilting of anykind and only have 2 of my own. My kids, on the other hand, have several each! :)
hugs

I have the same problem and don't know which project would be more beneficial on our little market on Sunday because Valentines day is just about upon us. Just grab the first thing that came to mind and made gorgeous vALENTINES IN THE HOOP CUP SERVIETTE HOLDERS. lOOKS NICE.Sorry don't have a means of loading a photo yet. But will soon. Lovies.****
Not enough time to do all the projects that I want to do. My next project is a quilt for the Uganda project.
I emphathize, I got a weird selection of designs going on my card now... the only thing that matches are basketcases ripple flowers! I did skulls the other day! I am thinking for teens, today I need something easy. Live Laugh Download Stitch!
No it isn't, I don't know what to do next, too many things I want to do and too many other things going on around my life right now. Frustrated does not cover it!
