Book covers
Finished 3 UFOs today, just had to sew the embroidered pieces into book covers.
#1 is machine appliqued;
#2 I digitised the shape and let the embroidery machine do the work;
#3 I attached parts of a deconstructed silk flower and attached that on the linen with free hand embroidery.
145304They all look very nice, but do not know what UFO's mean in regards to embroidry, anyone care to enlighten me? TIA Betty

Great minds think alike.. Next one I'm going to scan the pieces and digitise the embroidery. Although I like the one-off of free hand embroidery.
I found the appliqued one a bit Mackintosh like, something I only noticed afterwards.

Well, these were rather recent UFOs, embroidered and cut to size. You should see my stash of older ones...
Hope you get your mavhine repaired soon.
