I hope this works, Scary stuff
Alice, just got on my mobile an alert more thunderstorms and heavy rain on the way both today and tomorrow. I work in Recliffe and at the moment we are only have very light rain. but I guess that will change shortly.. hoping this stops people of brisbane will never cope if the flooding is as bad as last year. Hugs Sally
Hey Alice, Hope all is well, looking for an update. thanks christine
Hi Alice, I had a day off today because of the rain. It seems it is flooding in Mur'bah. I hope you are safe there.
Love and hugs, Yoriko
Oh Alice . I am so sad because were are heading up to Brissy Sat morn to stay with the girls and Grands. Only have a Ute as family car so looks like all the goodies i was going to take up will be staying here in Sydney "well thats if we think it is safe to go " Love the rain but not this w/end. :(
Weren't you on your way here last year when the rain happened? Please be careful if you are travelling in this, the roads can be very scary.
Hi Alice, I've been watching the weather map carefully and was also thinking about the floods from last year. I hope it doesn't get like that again. Thinking of you, keep safe and dry! Love Chris
I am not going to be watching the news as much this time, I got really distressed last year, it was one thing after another.
Alive, stay safe - 1 thing I do know - people do cope - some not as well as others - but life does go on - no matter the situation. I will be praying for you all.
You are living proof of that Shirlene. But some folk don't have your fortitude. There were suicides and a lot of depressed people after last years flood. These people will need lots of prayers, because the ones effected last year are just as likely to be effected again if the rain keeps up.
Oh my! I remember how we all prayed for those of you in Southern Australia last year. I hope the rains stop soon! Praying again! ~ Nancy
Thank you Nancy. South East Queensland is nowhere near southern Australia. lol. Australia is a huge country and Queensland is One of the Northern States. I hope you don't mind a bit of a geography lesson.
I hope that doesn't happen again for you.
In N Alabama we are getting a lot of rain and flooding in low lying places. More in the forecast also.
Everyone stay safe.
Marcelle
You too Marcelle, I am just really worried about the people who were so traumatised last year, losing loved ones homes and businesses. It would be too sad to see them go through it again.
Driving thru Hackleburg it is the saddest feeling still. Some new houses & businesses but almost no trees. Just new construction stuck up on barren landscape. Jefferson Co, AL was hit hard yesterday. More on the way. Husband's Doctor's secretary called late today and will reschedule his apt for Friday in Birmingham. She said she wanted to keep us off the road Friday. I really appreciated that. I would hate to be stranded during a storm with a wheel chair bound person. I have enough trouble just getting to the clinic. We just never know when disaster will strike any of us. Please keep us posted on your flooding.

Alice I have just watched the news and there is a weather warning out for you guys and for the top of NSW. Stay safe and dry. I am thinking of you. hugs Helen
We should be ok where we are, my husbands shed is flooded but that is just a nuisence, it is not a tragedy.
