Denise, these are so lovely - I like this with the floral fabric, too. I am so happy to see this wonderful design being used.
Shirlen, thank you for your kind words. I was abit sceptic about using such a huge floral behind this pattern. But it turned out great, i'm so happy, tomorrow these are going to hospital for donating too patients. I have more fsl angels to make also, just needed a break. Thanks again Hugs Denise
Thank you everyone, i enjoyed making these two cards. Before i forget, i cut two strips about 1 inch then folded it in 1/2 layed it across back before it did final satin stitching, after machine has gone around once, to tack down fabric, i trim, then finish the satin stitching. Insert paper or card in back between two added strips, sign it , your done. :) Thanks for looking everyone, Happy to hear you's like it:) Thank you for compiments..
It is beautiful. I hope the recipient appreciates all of the love you put into making this for them. I certainly would appreciate receiving something like this.
Oh i love them i should try this kind one of these days ,whomever gets this will be really thrilled i am sure hugs carolyn
Oh this is so pretty....looks like I might have to try this. Do you embroider right on the card or make it all of fabric.
HI bonnetgirl, i embroidered right on fabric, I hooped one layer of cutaway mesh stablizer, then used spray adhesive to hold fabric down, then i stitch the square around first to hold fabric in place. Then i go back and embroider pattern. After i go back load square and finish it off. but before it does last part of satin stitching around card, i trim to about 1/8 around, then finish the embroidery around square. remove from hoop and trim more but very very carefully, not to cut threads. poke holes out and add your ribbon.
