Please feel free to send some of your warm weather to me. A little will do. We have been recovering from a blizzard and ice storm that brought most of the area to a standstill and blackout for about a week or more. We still have about 2 feet of snow. I'm SO ready for spring.
Your broken needle probably settled down in the thread cutter. If you moved your machine, then maybe it shook it on down to the bottom, where it can rest quietly for now. Good luck with continued success!!
If you still haven't found the tip of the broken needle, it is probably in the bottom of the machine. I did that once, also lost a screw in there and my dealer found both when I took it in to him for servicing.
I don't blame it Lyn - you've had such amazingly hot weather over there in South Australia and our poor Western Australians - hottest weather EVER since records began. SWELTERING is a word that comes to mind! Hope your machine has a great day today! Love Chris
My machine was good last night. Haven't had a chance today. Usually when it is hot in WA we cop it a few days later, but for some reason we are not going to get this one. Having a group of ladies here Monday and it will be 26c
Lyn, I sent you a pm. olds/Maureen May have done it
wrong.
I know some don't recommend it, however I would turn the machine over and see if the needle tp comes out. I know it can do damage.
my repair man does this all the time when a lost screw gets in there so now i do it to no problem hugs carolyn
Did that as well. and also took off a cover and cleaned any fluff I could find. Still didn't work then but it is now.????
Lyn, you might be right - maybe the machine - just doesn't like hot days. Hehehe!
