I always buy from the local shops but maybe I should check these online shops. I mainly buy Vilene for WSS and needles, and the needles in the nearby shops are in packets of 5, never seen packets of 100! Thank you all for the information. Hugs, Lidia.
I just received an order for it from Allstitch this week. Received it in Alabama in 3 days. Received an order from Melco the same day and the Allstitch order was really packaged a lot better. Several 'Cuties' have given you links to sites already. I do like Shirlene and check several sites before ordering. The last few times I have found Allstitch to be the best price.

I just ordered from allstitch & the service was really fast! Order got here in 2 days from Baltimore to Tenn. I did get some of the vilene, the cloth type, & do my fsl items on it. That's also where I got the duck I did for Esther..in projects. Got some other tear away stab. too. Friends & I went together to get the $150 so no shipping cost. Very good price on the prewound bobbins I like also. The link has already been posted below.
Shopper's Rule has it on special, by the roll and even with postage to Australia it is still the most economical way to buy it.
11 inch by 25 yard roll for only $19.86.
Do the maths and I'm sure you'll agree this is a fantastic buy.
I think I need some sleep. This time it should work.
Forgot to click add link.
Third time is the charm... sorry about that.
Have also used World Wide Weider.
5.50 a yard, must order at least 3 yards and it is 59 inches across. Shipping is free and fast.
i get mine here, the fabric type is called vilene and it's the only kind I'll use. Plus free shipping. The company is in Oklahoma so it ships to Texas fast.
I don't know if you have a fabricland store where you are but they have a sale about every 6 weeks or sew & if your a member you can but most things in the store @ 50%off. I buy the H2Begone wss it is great! I only need to use one layer on everything that I have done sew far!Good Luck
No Fabricland that I have ever heard of. But will ask around. Hugs & Thanx, Judy
Judy, it depends on what you are going to use the WSS (water soluable stablizer) for - are you going to be making FSL (free standing lace) or use it as a topper - to keep your lettering or embroidery above the fabric or nap of toweling?
If you are going to be using it for FSL (free standing lace) then you will need the mesh type - fabric looking WSS (water soluable stabilizer).
I also look for sales - when I purchase WSS - so I check 2-3 sites regularly for them. I don't see any sales at the present time on these - perhaps others will come along and add to the list.
Thanx ever sew much Shirlene!!! I appreciate the sites to check out. I want it mostly for FSL. Hugs, Judy
