I have been there, done that and I think I prefer working outside of home more. I do not do as much sewing but appreciate it when I have the time.
I know what you mean I love to sew and I only have one day out of the week I can do it due to having to work so much. I have a long time before I can retire.
Think we all have thta dream of hit the lotto-jackpot!
Conratulation to your 4000flowers :o)
Greetinga, Bettina
Thank you for all your responses. I have too long to count til I retire...but I can dream. It would be so nice if I could hit the lotto. Oh what fun...look out JoAnn's and all the other sewing/fabrics I can find. hehehehe
Yesterday I was tired, today I'm tired...now I'm 'retired' That is the closest I am to retiring soon, hehehe hugs S*
I am retired and don't have enough time to do all I have to do and want to do. But you will have a grand time when you do get to retire.
Hehehe, it does seem to be that way - then you retire - then wonder where all the time you thought you would have is.
I found that when I was working, I scheduled free time. Now it all gets sucked up with other odds and ends because now everyone thinks that I have nothing to do. I got WAY more done back then.... So when you plan your retirement, just don't tell anyone. :)
I right there with you!!!! Weekends become so pressured so much to do before I get to the sewing!!
Hugs Sally
I think I did more when I was working, going to graduate school, taking care of the family as well as having foreign exchange students! Who knew!
