UPDATE....

Hi cuties,
last week i had problems with a design , I had thread breaking like crazy. and broke a needle and ruined a bath towel.
well, i called a friend and told her what was happening . Thank god she knew what it was it was my needle she told me what size to use .
So i sure you all know but, i would like to share with those that don't know . She told me to use 80/12 for the towels .
My towels came out beautiful i had not breakage of thread .

Very frustrating I broke 4 needles on one towel though it was the thread but no since I used a larger needle (thanks to meganne) have not had the problem...hugs Sally

I use 90/14 for towels, especially if I am doing them with the Designer Diamond, it doesn't stitch at all well with smaller sized needles.

I will try this. I have always used a 90/14 and never had any trouble. Thanks for the info. Sarah
