I buy all my zippers through wawak. Very reasonable and fast friendly service. www.wawak.com. I buy other supplies from them and have had very good luck with their products.
The best price I found for zippers was on zipperstop.com If you buy at least 12 of any one color you get a good discount. I did feel their shipping was a bit higher than I feel is fair. I think they should ship the 90 zippers I bought for $6-7, and the shipping was nearly $10. They just don't weigh that much. But, they do have every kind of zipper you'll probably ever need. I love to make those little ITH zippered bags!
I got 100 for 10.00 and 9.00 to ship a while back. Works out to about 20 cents per zipper.
I get mine from sewtrue.com, they send you e-mails for free shipping. Great service and a quality product.
ZipIt on Etsy. She has a nice selection at a good price and FANTASTIC service.
Every time I buy a zipper -I zip it up & then with a top end in each hand I pull to the sides, if the zip slide goes down the zip its useless for pants ,skirts etc & I wouldn't buy it.Nothing worse ,than have to replace a zip in a garment after one wear because the zip opens with any move you make-been caught out a few times
I purchase mine from HomeSew. You can either get a specific size or a bag of assorted sizes, which is really nice. I just got an order and got a fantastic assortment. They also have lots of other goodies there, and if you order above a certain amount (I think it is $150), then there is a discount (last time I did, it was 25%). Good luck!!
thanks, sounds like what I am looking for and also thanks for the link. Betty
I just looked at the site that parkermom asked about and don't know anything about them or where they are but they have excellent prices and seemed to have any size/type zipper you could want. You might check them out.
E and M greenfields in Sydney Australia has all haberdashery needs and some materials, labels, etc. They are wholesale. They are open to the public. You can buy from just 1 item to bulk. Great value. They even dye buttons for you.
I haven't bought Zippers in years - let alone in bulk. Good luck and happy stitching.
