Hi Michelle - Out of interest - if you view the design in you software, can you see the problem there as well. Why I am curious is that I also purchased a few sets on the OPW 50% special and obviously have not stitched them out yet. Don't want to be disappointed later. If I view them in my software they seem fine apart from the fact that the colors is not right but must admit I find that often. Have not purchased this set as I was over my budget with the ones I got.
That is the problem, I always take a close up look before stitching and when zoomed, nothing appears on my computer or my machine
zoomed at 250%. So I really do not understand,
I have stitched out others from OPW and they were fine,
Was afraid that you were going to say that. Guess I will have to stitch them out as soon as possible then just to make sure.
Good that you emailed OPW. They have always been great to work with so I am sure they will make it right. Sometimes files just get corrupted when they are converted to other formats, zipped or even downloaded. Lots of things could have caused the problem.
That is a very cute design so I can see why you wanted it. Even better when you get a repaired file.
Marcelle
I see you have sent an email, I think this is the best plan. If it was my design I would want to know about the problem. I can't imagine that she would have wanted it to look like that so it may be a poblem with the conversion as Maria has suggested.
Alice.
here is the link to the designs,
I had a design do this and when i redownloaded it it was fine then ???carolyn
Can you post a link to their picture? I can see why it is bugging you. Usually their stuff is top notch!!
Contact the designer, hopefully you get some feedback, I had a similar problem with one from Cecilia's site and I wrote but never got a reply...good luck.
Poor soul looks like she has a face mask on. If I had bought this design I would be contacting the seller with a copy of the stitch out and ask for their comments
I am sure they would want to know this happened with their design.
I'm sure the digitizer would want to know first. OPW has been very helpful to me in the past, as well. Let us know if this really was just a conversion problem. Good luck!! Denise
If you have paid for this, I would expect more, lets put it this way, if you had digitized this would you, alter it, or sell. it. hope this helps .
Hugs Pam.
I did pay and am very disappointed. If i had
digitized it I would definetly want to alter it later.
Thanks
hugs
Michelle
It is such a lovely design that I would suggest you contact Carmella and tell her about this. I don't think it is supposed to be like that. *****
I don't think so either, if it is it sure takes away from the cute design,
hugs
Michelle
Yes it is noticeable. Cute though! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
I have noticed this type of happening before.. when the file has been converted from another format rather then the orignal being saved in each format..
as when any softwear converts one format to another some details may be lost..you should contact Carmella with a copy of your stitched out design Im sure she would appreciate you letting her know :-)
big hugs from London
Maria xx
I agree, go straight to the digitizer. Is is supposed to be textured? My preferred choice in designs is all smooth. Some people just go overboard with the texture thing.
Jo
I just sent an e-mail to OPW, and will see what they say. If nothing else, maybe this posting will prevent others from purchasing it and being as disappointed as I am,
