hey lady don't foget men are not all that brainy and they do stupid things too so stop berating yourself and count your blessings, no one was hurt or even injured and it won't cost much to pop the part back on again. Just take it a lesson in concentration when on bad roads and give thanks to your gardian angel for standing near you. i send a hug and kiss for your injured pride annie in the uk
Yes, you should KEEP this car ! It is a "lucky" car. See how many times you bumped with it and you still are with us ! Must be an angle in it -probably a FSL sewed one ;-)
I expect you were thinking about a million other things. These things happen. A big hug coming from S. Africa. Sarah.
Did you get hurt at all? I hope you didn't get hurt. These things happen, and sometimes they are just a wake-up call to get off the road or get sleep, etc.. I hope that you can recover quickly from your traumatic experience. I hate driving in the snow and ice. It creates the most unpredictable circumstances imaginable.
Oh, BTW, I forgot....
HHHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
:}
Reminds me of the time my 4-wheel-drive slipped sideways on the wet evening grass off the edge of the road when we lived in PNG. We had to get the schoolboys out of the dorm to lift the car back onto the road. No-one believed me that it did slip but I was just about to turn into the driveway and just crawling along. No streetlights there, of course. I managed to get out and hold the car upright until Don came along - how stupid could a person be??? It could have rolled on top of me, but no harm was done.
I'm so glad that you were all right. How lucky you were that your neighbours came by.
You could start the confession by saying, 'What dumb things would happen around here if it weren't for me?' ..... :}
AlmaG.
I need a car that is made of rubber. We are fine, and that's okay. I don't ever want to buy a new car again. I have bumped this car more times that I can even count! grrrr Truly, like you my buddies have said, this is nothing, just another "bump in the road" of life. I shouldn't even complain - silly me. Thanks for the hugs. Jan Now we just need to snap the car back together - Maybe I should have named her Humpty Dumpty.
Another BIG hug to you, Jan! So glad no injuries, nor damages! I have bought "used" vehicles for years, after wasting so much money on NEW ones! After I drive a new one off the lot, doesn't take me long to make it look used!! LOL
Angel
my goodness - so glad there was no damage - having your huband upset at you for doing that is better than your husband not having you at all.
BIG HUG for you and just glad you were not injured, we
all do unfortunate things but that is life,
hugs
Michelle
Well at least you didn't go over the side of the mountain! I'm sure you've driven that road a thousand times and know it like the back of your hand. say la vie! LLDS!
and here is another hug. You are OK and the car sounds like its fairly OK. We all have strenghts and weeknesses so dont bother too much. Your husband must do some daft things too?
Thank the Lord you are all right, that is what matters, I am sending you a virtual hug.
