I have one that belonged to the school nurse when I was in high school, when she passed away her sister sold it to me. I have since passed it on to my grandson who loves to sew.
I have one and I simply adore it. Made a cover for it and a special bag for all her attachments. She is used very often, and I am happy with her.She is almost spotless.
I learned to sew on my Mom's FW at the age of 4. She made me follow the lines on paper from a tablet, then we drew circles, hearts, etc. and I followed those lines, all without thread! Then I got to thread it and make doll clothes. By the time I was in Jr. High I was making my own clothes and made prom dresses, etc. I have it now, and it is more precious to me because of it's history than it's actual value. I have a Viking Diamond that I use daily, and sadly have not used the FW in years. I should take it for service and set it up for quilt guild! Linda
I have one, hubby has one and I have another. Soon will have a 3/4 size Singer in bentwood case plus I have a full size one in a bentwood case. I take featherweight as only 13 pounds in its case. Leave my BerninAS at home. Leave Berninas at home. Have had FW since late 70's.

I have one which I love and, yesterday,I was lucky enough to acquire her "big sister" a beige & white 301A.I have 8 vintage machines but these two are my most favourites.
I have two but I have to admit I seldom use them for the sort of projects I do at classes.
They are very useful, though, and I doubt if they will ever die. They're wonderful for patchworking and ordinary sewing projects.
To me, they are more of a collector's item these days.

I'd really like to have one. They are the original dream machine!
I have one. Great little machine. Seems like they last forever if you give it lots of TLC.
I have to admit I have one I take with me to piece quilts when I'm on the road. It's easy to use and not prone to computerized glitches-----
