Jaycotts in Chester might have something. They sell enough embroidery machines. Aberkhan has a shop in Chester and runs some courses which can be accessed on the internet. I think that Cute is a excellent resource as many of us with embroidery machines live miles from anyone else with one. When one comes here and asks questions there are always replies and useful tips. Keep us posted with what you find
Did ask, said did not know of any,Bambers do patchwork but I would prefer more textile Art...
Berny, drop into one of those P&Q groups in Frodsham. They may know of an embroidery group. Also ask about sewing machine shops, some shops hold clubs. I'm sure I've also heard about groups in Northwich. There's a couple of people I can ask and will post back here if I make any progress.
Hi, Many years ago I used to live in Kingsley near Frodsham in Cheshire. There used to be a very good sewing machine shop in Chester in a shopping area called 'The Rows'. IF they're still there, and I just don't know if they are, they surely would be able to help. Sorry - having a blonde senior moment - and can't remember the name of the shop. I bought my first knitting machine from them. Memories................
Hi welcome to Cute
Sorry im in London so a little way from you too..
big hugs - Maria xx
Hi Berny and welcome to Cute - I would first of all speak to my local sewing machine dealer and ask if they know of any groups that meet. I don't know what town you live in in the County of Cheshire, but there must be several women's groups that have sewing classes. I know my Anglican church has one, maybe check with your local community hall/college etc. Good luck with it all. Love and blessings Chris
