Aaaaw! How sweet and how cute she is! Hugs and prayers, and thanks for sharing !! God Bless and give you both good health and continued healing:>)
Hugs and prayers, Meganne. Sometimes we have to live one minute at a time because the thoughts of the day ahead can be overwhelming.
Picture 4.... she's practising looking out of the window and waiting for your return.
She's saying, 'Come back soon.'
Much love - Alma.
It is 9am Monday morning for you now and I'm sending up prayers and warm hugs for all to go better than you imagined it ever could.;)
It's 5PM on Sunday here. Going to go watch the Super Bowl.
Dear Meganne, I am praying for your recovery and hope that you will soon be back with your furbabies and DH. May God's everloving healing hand stretch over you and Tidge so that you can all be well again. All the best for your stay in hospital and everything that goes with it. Lovies******
ps. I love your new photo, you are a lovely lady and a very caring person. God will look after you all.**
I'm sure you'll miss your little ones, but some good suggestions have been mentioned. I call home and my DH holds the phone to the ear of Bella, (who actually listens) when I'm away.
We'll all be praying for your swift and pain free recovery. I'm hoping you can return home with Ray, to be with your precious kitties.
God bless you,
Jacqueline
Meganne, so glad that I came in to cute quickly tonight. I wish you a speedy stay in hospital, and a swift recovery, so you can be with your lovely little ball of furr again. You know, I have my little baby, who turned one two weeks ago, and I have to have a knee replacement done, but so do not want to leave him. When we go somewhere (even just for a hour or two) I leave my old gown for him, and will always find he had lain on it while we were gone. I believe if they can just smell you on something personal, they are calmer.
Tidge is still playing, and that is, what I call, to show you. "what do all of you know?? I have not given up yet".
Praying and thinking of you, be strong.
Lots of love, and all Gods blessings.
Marietta

This is so heartsore if your babies getting sick and you can do nearly nothing to help them, but here this little one is still playing. Hugs Marie
Meganne, thank you for sharing you furbabies with us. Tidge has the quaintest expression in the last photo, as if she says 'come again, I'm waitin' hugs S*
thank you for sharing your friends.I like the suggestions given here about leaving a sweater or something with your smell for her, and taking the pictures with you for you. hope you see eachother soon (when you have to go tomorrow).all your friends( cuties and cats) will be waiting for you.prayers and hugs/love Gerry
Love the pics of your kitties. Don't we love our furry friends - how lucky we are to watch over them and have their love!! Hugs, Laura*
Don't forget to leave a blouse or two with your scent by their bed.It will comfort them. I did that with my little dog when I was in the hospital this past summer.
Thanks for sharing. Lovely cats ! Take a picture of them with you, so you have them close to you.
I'm sorry, I guess I am coming into this mid conversation. Is she ill and will go to the hospital to get better or do you mean take her to the hospital as in putting her down? We just had to put our sick one down a few weeks ago, she too was a shadow of her former self but played once in a while. Her heart was bad, she was deaf, going blind and was skin and bones. We knew putting her down was best but kept putting it off but I finally made the decision, we stayed with her to the end, they gave her a sedative so she was calm and we petted her and talked to her and yes, I explained to her that we loved her and she was very sick and this was for the best to end her pain and suffering. The vet gave us as much time as we needed and after she looked us both in the eyes for a moment and we could tell that she knew and understood he came in, a quick shave to a spot on her leg and then the injection, no more than 15 seconds and she was gone. Yes it hurt, yes I am crying now and yes, it was the right thing to do and I feel that every day. Don't hold onto her for yourself, let her go for her. I hope this helped you in some little way.
Big hugs, Debra
OMG, Sorry Meganne, I didn't read who this was from till after I wrote that!! I know you are going into the hospital, not her!!! As others said, you can call her from the hospital if you have an answering machine and talk to her! I am so so so sorry if I upset you with my other post, I didn't mean to! I should have looked to see who it was from before I added my comment. Please forgive me!
Bigger Hugs, Debra
I wrote that before seeing it was from you! Please forgive me, when I read the post it just reminded me so much of our decision that I didn't look at the name.
Bigger Hugs!!!! Debra
No worries, Debra, I appreciate how your mind was thinking but no, Tidge is not ready to go yet, she is still active, in a limited way, she is eating & cleaning herself & still makes her way to the litter tray. Once a week she will play for a few minutes & I have been trying to capture her antics on film, something I never thought to do before becaue I thought she would be with me forever. At least I have been given fair warning so I can love her even more, not that that is possible.

Thank you for understanding Meganne, I felt so bad after I realized how I had made such a mistake. Our other cat has realized the first one is gone now, she has taken to coming into the sewing room where the older one slept and she never did that before because she lived in fear of the older cat.
because she lived in fear of the older one. Good luck tomorrow, I will be thinking of you!
Hugs, Debra
Thanks for the wee peek at your fur babies .I love the crochet quilt you made hugs carolyn
You can take your babies with you in a photo and don't forget to call them via telephone and talk to them. We did this for my mothers' dog when she was in the hospital and it was a long stay. It seemed to help. Good luck and praying speedy recovery. Betty
