Very nice, Denise! Lots of work, must have taken some time to stitch. Great job. Hugs, Lidia
I'm loading a new picture, this lantern comes with this gold one also. Here is one panel, i was having troubles with my machine at the time, i think thats why it never got finished. Just to show you colors i started in second mystic lantern. Hope you like :) No wonder i couldn't find it, lol i bought this in 2009 .
I love it. It's a shame not to be gone until the end of the achievement because it is a very beautiful model. I hope someday it will be over.
I found the pattern and where i purchased it. Oh i see sigrun answered already. I"m so happy that someone was able to help you EastWitch2. Sorry i took so long in finding it. But happy now u can get for yourself, there are three diff. lanterns to this set, when you buy it. Mystic Lanterns, from oh sew new at secretsof.com
Does this have to be stitched on Organza or can it be stitched as just free standing lace?
EastWitch2
This says in the Instructions: Embroider out on organza with two layers of water soluble Vilene. Remove from the hoop and rinse under running hot water for approximately 2 minutes. Air dry and press with a warm iron. Cut away excess organza close to the stitching without cutting the stitching. Stitch panels wrong sides together along outer edge using a zigzag stitch in the same colour

Thank you Sigrun answering my question and for the instructions!

She is very successful with your lantern and decorate your table taste, but what tea candles? What does it look like? I think in France they carry a different name.
Thank you and congratulations.
Thank you vero28, i'm loading two more pictures to show you the tea candle, also with it lit up inside lantern
OK thank you. With us, it's called the hotplate candles. Thank you for new photos.
Thank you everyone on your kind words. I just measured it, stands from bottom to tip in center is 6 3/4 inches tall and from the pointy sides from tip to tip is aprox. 4 3/4 inches across. I'm looking through all my files and usb sticks, still haven't found it. I'll go through all my disks too. As soon as i find where i got this from i'll post it.
I use tea candles to light, (never leave it alone when using real candles) I remember it took sometime to stitch out each panel, and this is when i first got my machine.. trying out new ideas back then.
You Lantern is lovely.
This would work great for the Flameless battery operated candles or tea lights.
How large is the lantern?
Would love to know where you found the design or pattern for it.
Lovely work.

this is great also for using up some old sheer fabrics from old curtains... I use tea candles, and the small one in shot glass. Those shot glass i got at sally ann, great idea for tiny candles.
