Hi all. Has anyone seen an ITH Eye Patch for kids with lazy eyes (to go over glasses)? My son needs one and I thought an ITH project would be fabulous

Thanks for all your replies!! I was hoping to use a cotton fabric rather than felt as my son has to wear his patch for 4 hours each day (and it's summer here - might get a bit hot)

I found this idea for a boy.

You could use a pony tail holder. I've had to wear patches in the past and that's what I did. My eye doctor approved of it. I know Designs by Sick has some, but their link to is broken right now.

You could use soft fabric like flannel.

Here is a tutorial for making an eyepatch for occlusion therapy using felt. You could embroidery a boy design of your choice on it.

ttt. Sorry I haven't seen one but it would be very good if someone could digitize one for ALL the kids that need it. Would sure beat the masking tape I used to use on my daughter's glasses. xx

little hearts for girls and skull for boys, perhaps the word BOO could be used as well or peepo
