Congratulations to you and your family with the precious baby boy...you might just visit Joanne Fabrics (great deals and coupons you can obtain from internet) also inexpensive is Walmart (most carry fabric) and of course just look in directory and you will be able to find quite a few that sell fabric..good luck on your quest for fabric and best of wishes for your visit to USA. GOD bless you, safe trip!!
Just want to say: welcome to california! you will find some very nice people here.
In Bakersfield California (about 110 miles north of L.A.) there is a quilt shop called "strawberry Patches".
I don't know how you are planning on getting from one area to another (driving, flying, etc). Bakersfield may be way off the route, but this is an amazing little shop. Of course, there are others in Bakersfield, but this is my favorite.
again, welcome
debi
they are cuties for sure, I can what must be your beautiful handi-work in the background as well! way to go! & ENJOY
In Buena Park, Orange County (not far from Knotts Berry Farm and Disneyland) there is a shop called M & L Fabrics. I am now in Alabama and can't remember exact streets but I think Ball Road. Bring your walking shoes! It is in an old grocery store building, has stacks and stacks and stackes of folded goods, as well as rows of bolts. Everything from sparkly formal wear fabric to cottons/flannels/denims. Everytime I get home to CA I go and ship fabrick back. Not sure about quilt shops, but love love love this place. Linda
Welcome to Cute! You are ao blessed! I am sure your trip to the US will be full of fun and shopping! However, I went to tijuana a long time ago, and I do not think they have the textiles you are looking for and the risk maybe not worth the effort, since it is Mexico! The Coastal area San Diego to San Fransisco you will find all you wants! Promise! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
They are to cute, I unfortunately cannot help with your shopping expedition (would love to tag along LOL) but I am sure a cutie or two will give you some advice,
hugs
Michelle
Congratulations on your new grandson and have a wonderful trip overseas. I did my first trip 4 years ago and loved it. We are going again this year. You should see if there are any CUTIES in the area you are going to and see if you can catch up with them. Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia.
P.S. Where are you from in Australia?
If I ever get out your way which I certainly hope to in my lifetime, I will definately let you know! I WOULD LOVE IT! & you visa versa Chris
