These are really nice. How do you get the cover to stay on the clips? It looks like you would have to sew pretty close to the clip if you are sewing them right on. I use hair clips to manage my "wings" when I put my hair up, and could have lots of fun if I could figure out how these were made. :) My daughter would also love these. She buys hair clips every time she spots a new style!!
ggdesignsembroidery.com have a photo step by step tutorial on basic felt hair clip stitcheries. Regards Joyce
The way that I so them is to put a piece of tearaway in hoop. Lay a piece of felt on top of the tearaway then stitch them till you get to the last section. I then take the hoop off and turn it over. I then take a washaway glue stick and rubi it on the inside of the designs and lay another piece of felt on top of this. (make sure you check when rehooping that it didn't move and sew last stitch. When finished cut close to stitching or pinking sheers. I use a glue gun to attach the designs or a pretty bow.
They are really cute and maybe they can keep track of this new batch.
Well to be honest their hair is so fine that they lose a lot that way and of course Laura Mae (GGD) tells her mom "no problem nanie will make me so more.
These look wonderful. The girls will look very smart with them on.
very nice some wee girl will smile:):0
Ah yes they will smile expecally the GGD...she is still little enough to think nanie can do everything..Now the eight year old wants anything to do with dancing so gonna look for some more girly girl for her.
Hello Embroidery Library.com has several sets of mini designs that will fit these clips or you can buy them seperately. Regards Joyce.
