Here is how amazing my hubby is. I had been looking at this sterling and topaz butterfly necklace when we go to BJ's (a large warehouse shopping store) a few times so he got it for me for Valentine's day but he couldn't wait to give it to me (this happens with every gift) so after a day of saying no I accepted it early and loved it. He said that when I saw the box I had to know what it was but I told him no because he had pointed out a cat necklace outlined with little diamonds done in 3 tone gold so I wasn't sure which it was. He asked if I wanted him to run back out and get that one too! I told him no. On Valentine's day he went to the grocery store (I am not allowed to drive right now due to health problems) and that stinker went out there and came home and put the box in my hand with the necklace in it!!! Mind you, my birthday is only 2 months away although some years we just say no gifts and try to stick to that. Now I have 2 new necklaces and have to decide which one to wear, lol. I have tons of low end jewelry and I make necklaces for myself when the whim hits me and no daughters to pass them on to and a daughter-in-law who hates jewelry and girly stuff and my older son's girlfriend who can't wear jewelry to work so doesn't wear it at all.

As much as I love kitties, I would have had a hard time choosing between the two. The butterfly is such a beautiful color. Be sure to wear one of them every day - don't save them for special. Every day is special!

Yes, I am lucky but he really needs to back off the generous part, we are the struggling middle income people. He get Social Security and pension, I get nothing. I have been told I should try to get disability cause of the cancer but I don't think they would give it to me on my work record, don't have enough hour time. Stayed home and raised the boys.

I plan to keep him but first I have to keep myself here to be with him. I love the kitty too cause though I had my eye on the butterfly, he was the one who pointed out the kitty the last time we were at the store so it was his true pick even though he got the butterfly first cause he knew it was what I wanted.

Thanks Shirlene. He keeps telling me how much better I could have done if I hadn't met him but no way, they guys I dated before he came along were losers and I'd be living in the bad end of town with a bunch of kids that were trouble. I appreciate what I have.

Took him a lot of years to say it in words but he has always shown it with things he brings home for me. He is going through a rough time, knowing he will lose me all too soon. I treasure him.

Thank you! We love critters, feed the birds, squirrels come to our door for peanuts and we love kitties, like dogs but ain't cleaning up their poo and you can't leave them inside all day long if you go away. I am allergic to it all anyway, lol!

Ah thanks! He can be such a dear but he isn't affectionate at all, when I had my worst day ever from the cancer he came over and sat by me and pulled me close to hug me and let me cry and rant, it was a first time thing. He said that when I want a hug I can ask for one, lol.
