Yes I do have also some of these days. I blame it on winter time. No much sun, it gets dark quite early, you can't sit in the garden doing nothing,....
We call that Cabin Fever. Lack of vitamin D will help with this complaint. Can't sit in the garden as it was 35C (95F) today.
I have those days often. Need to talk to myself to get motivated. Go for it. Buy a pretty design and stitch it up!! Hugs, Mary
Lyn i know what you mean my d/h plays in a jazz band and is often off for the day or night and i think great me time sew sew and all i seem to do is sit aroung and mope it will pass.....soozie
Think my problem is that I spend too much time by myself. I have an elderly dog who frets when I go out, which is not very often now because of her
Lyn, like Chris I write a list and tick it off but today the list dosen't have any ticks as I didn't do anything other than but one cute...hehehe Hugs Sally
It's you time that's needed by the sounds of it, don't think of what you should be doing, but decide on something you wished you could do if you had time and do it now! That will allow you to make you feel very special. Here's a flower to brighten your day. Hugs Christine, Johannesburg
Thank You Christine. I found things to do and now it is almost time for bed.
What ever it takes to brighten your day dear. Here is a big hug (((((((((((((((Lyn))))))))))))))))
Don't think I felt as bad as this little fella looks. I actually went out and cleaned my car as well as some stitching this evening. Love him/it. Thanks Shirlene.
AWE! Lyn I would love to be able to go downstairs and do some sewing but can't stand up, bend over or sit down long enough to be able to!
So when you start your next project just think you are doing what I can't and let that be your inspiration. :-)
Wish I could come and visit you and we could have a good old natter. We would both forget our problems -- I hope. Get well soon.
What do you mean by "one of those days" This happens to me in weeks NOT days.(one of those weeks). LOL. I am kidsitting for the night. I say kidsitting because they are 7-14 years old. Hugs Marg
Should of said 4 boys, no interest in embroidery there. One told me he is doing cooking at high school, so that is good.
Marg, I was thinking of you when you were having floods. I was originally from Innisfail so I know what damage can happen to Cane with floods and wind. Hope all is OK at yours now.
I think we all get those days. I have 4 shirts cut out waiting to be sewn. I also just cannot seem to get down to sewing. I know that when I start it will be fine. Just need that little push. Sarah.
O.K. Lyn - just make a list of the things that you want to get done and start with the easiest one. Once that's done, tick it off the list and then go on to the next one. Little by little they will all be done! Love Chris
