Going to have your car serviced is like going to the Dr or Dentist. They always find something else that needs seeing to. My service yesterday was to be 90 mins. Almost 3 hrs later I left with my car only to take it back again tomorrow to get new brake pads in the back. Then the fuel pump at a later date. I am not made of money even if they think I am.

Well, Lyn, you'll sure need good brakes where you live, maybe a bit of fuel to get the old girl up a hill or two as well.

$600 later. They washed my car after the work on Tuesday then on Thur after they had finished I saw my car disappear again only to be told it would be ready after they finish washing it. Twice in two days???

So sorry to hear that - it is hard - even though - it isn't that old - it still has things that wear out. Of coarse you are not made of money and they should think you are, either.

My car is almost as good as new one now, or I hope it is now.

Car repairs are always necessary to keep the driver and others safe. It's just a big chunk of money all at once. You'll feel better knowing you wouldn't get stranded somewhere.

I feel better knowing that if the Police pull me up all will be well as everything is as good as expected for a 9 year old car.

I know how you feel, with my husband working in this field. I feel like this would you like to know now or when something really goes wrong and you hurt yourself or someone? Just take is step by step to get it fixed. You can always ask if they can help with the price. Hugs DeVon This is me when something on the car goes wrong. LOL

I shouldn't complain as I know when all is fixed the car will be as new - or as close to as it can be, as it is 8 years old.
