Dear Louise, this is so sad to read. I do pray for all the farmers where you are living and I also pray that this sort of trauma will not happen to you. Love and blessings Chris
Dreadful news. My heart goes out to you. May the lord keep you safe. Prayers for your community.

Louise, I am so terribly sorry to hear again of another killing here in SA. I know that you are also on a farm. My thoughts are with you - stay safe. Hugs Sarah (Knysna)
Sorry the family and community has to go through this tragedy. It's sad when you don't feel safe in your home and on your land. Prayers that the wife will recover.
A very disturbing and sad world that we live in today. So very sorry Louise to hear this, prayers go out to the family ...I hate to even read the newspaper or listen to the news as it is so often this type of news that we are hearing...Hugs Glenda x0x0x0
It's so sad when people think they have to resort to violence. My prayers are with the family and also your community.;)
Are you in South Africa? Sounds like something that would happen there.
Yes Coral, like me Louise lives in SA. Our news papers do not even bother to print these stories any more as it is almost an every day occurrence with farm owners.
I remember. Things that get headline news here in Australia do not even get a mention in SA. My sister was taken at gunpoint from a shopping centre and raped.. No mention of it even in the locals. People just say "you are lucky you were ONLY raped. Oh, I could write a book about the crime that has affected just MY family - and I am sure that EVERY family is affected - some of us more than once!
Yes I am in South Africa, but still the most beautiful Country to me. Hugs Louise
Yes, it was in South Africa. My family has been affected by rape, two highjackings, armed assault, waking to people in the house - and some crimes committed BY police.
