My husband would LOVE that design, sans the name of course. I think you did a fantastic job of the lines under the dragon; it gives a very nice movement. Love your work!!!
Thank you. The request was rather unusual, the hardest thing was to 'marry' the unrelated elements into one design. I'm glad you like it!
martine, it sure LQQKs nice, as all your projects do.
Het design is heel mooi ook de naam ,maar niet zo voor een kind, maar ja, zo is het in nederland
He is a very handsome dragon - most suitable for St David's Day!
Thanks, I like him, but had to remove a couple of awkwardly placed stitches once I'd tested him. I think I'm getting more and more finicky, just want designs to stitch out perfectly :(
Clever the way you done it. A farm close to us is called "Maastrich"
It is beautiful and the story around his birth and name is nice. Hugs Louise
The towel looks nice. Maybe I'm oldfashioned but I never would name my child after a city (even when I love Heidelberg so much), rivers, fruits or seasons. This has no history here in Germany and if you yell out "Wind come home we have lunch now" on the playground people would think you are crazy :o)
Greetings, Bettina
I found it a bit strange as a first name. Cities and rivers have been used as family names with Van (von) in front, like Rembrandt van Rijn (our way of spelling the river Rhein) to take a famous one.
