DAY 4 - no sewing/emb machine I made it through day one by cleaning my sewing room, not too hard. DAY 2 I cut out 5 quilts and made them into kits! DAY 3 I spent RtR - Running the Road, grocery store, two quilt stores, etc. Today is DAY 4, and I'm still breathing!
I think I'll cut out what I have now to complete more quilt kits.Is there anyone who would like to stitch some of these quilts I have already cut out? Some are simple squares to be stitched into 5x6 quilts with a binding. Some are simple rag quilts, with just the two layers. I could mail you a kit, if you can promise to complete it and mail it back.... Just PM me to let me know if you'd like to do one.
I need my sewing machine back!!

What is the update on the quilts? Is the deadline is still May 1st? I've been a little sick but I am better now, and working on Uganda stuff as we speak. How long till you get your machine back?

LInda, you are a Hoot! I'm really on a roll - I cut out two more quilts tonight! I still have more fabric! Glad you are feeling better :-)
