Here are some projects to get you started although you should have gotten a workbook with your machine. Mine had me make samples and write down the tensions and what I used and you stick the sample in your book. Glad you got it threaded, seriously that's the hardest part! :) xXx
I just read the manual and the threading order for your machine is: upper looper - green, lower looper - blue, right needle - pink , left needle - yellow. Just follow the thread paths :)
I generally don't lift my foot unless packing away, or starting on multiple layers of fabrics. I love that you can continue to "sew" (technically it's chaining) without fabric under the foot and no tangling threads like a regular sewing machine. Should mention that I have a Bernina overlocker, but I feel your pain with rethreading and wanted to help :) xXx
