He (or she) is so cool the only thing left of the lizards around here after one of my cats sees it, might be the blue tail.
As long as he's got legs and claws I can appreciate him!!!!............. from a distance.
One of my daughters lived across the road from a public park/gardens in Hervey Bay and quite regularly the lizard-dragon creatures would come out to visit the funny ones who lived in houses.
AlmaG.
A real little cutie. Lovely to see wildlife amongst the ordinary gardening plants and things. ***
Oh, he is so cute! Meganne you are as bad as me, outside talking to and feeding the wild animals, lol. About the closest we get to "wild" are the squirrels. the come running when they hear the house door or see the car pulling in the driveway. They take the peanuts from my fingers and I love them. John said people will call me the crazy squirrel lady but I love my furbabies and I think your little lizard is very cute!
Oh, the cat we recently put down wouldn't bother them either and they would just walk around her. She knew they were mommy's babies too.
just georgous we have lots here Jim feed them they love bananas and one day while feeding one without shoes on he water dragon thoughgt his toe was a tasty banana and latched onto his toe definately a "funniest home video clip " not a camera in sight when you want one....soozie
beautiful. The cat and you: a special rescue team :)
Let's hope he /she remembers your kindness when he's an adult.how large are they when they are adults?
Well I have seen some here that are at least 5 foot long, but a lot of that is tail. LOL!!!
wow that is a big one..not seen one that big we have lots of babies ..soozie
Was it hurt ? What do they eat ? I have no idea.
No, that's what is so amazing. Spanky had its head and body right inside his mouth so all I could see was its back legs and tail. The bigger ones love banana but I have no idea what they normally eat, probably flying insects.
They are so different from anything here. They are cute.
He sure is lucky to escape the cat.
I have only seen one dead one outside and since then Spanky brings them into me instead. My animals get a severe tongue lashing when they go after the wildlife.
Now even the wild ducks ignore the cats and dog when they come to feed.
Oh! wow Meg, he is a real baby. Just look at the size of him up against your fingers, compared to the two on your back seat!!!!!! Love Chris.
I hope you admonished Spanky!!!!!
OH NO! If I did that he wouldn't bring them in so I could save them. I have to tell him what a good boy he is now give it to mummy. He bellows as he is bringing them up the stairs and so far they have been alive and unharmed, which is amazing considering how sharp his teeth are, I think he see me feeding them and he knows he is not allowed to hurt them.
how sharp his teeth and claws are. I think he sees me feeding them and he knows he is not allowed to hurt them.
wow look @ their tails! They are sew long! Claws too Are they a gentle dragon?
They are gorgeous creatures, but I don't doubt they could bite if they needed to.
I stand on the top verandah and talk to them and those that are getting used to me, will run towards me and stand there turning their head from side to side, listening.
Isn't he just adorable??? Of course it is hoped he will live to grow as big as my other visitors and he won't forget who rescued him and let him go, after lots of gentle head pats.
