I think that would be a great idea. Thank you in advance for I am sure it would take a great deal of hard work from you
It is supposed to be this commuity tab! Ah well! we could move to personals! Lots of room over there! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
Sounds like a great idea Helen-hints,tips and techniques-reference guide-would be nice if we had an actual separate tab-like on the toolbar or add a tab(public, freebies, private,PM,hints & tips).Kind of like Emb.library's tips section ~linda~
1. maltamaid asked this questhow to convert a design to a picture.
2. Sissis instructions for her BIB design
Just thought this would be a good idea. We can post the LINKS for answers to some of the questions for hints and help , just like we post the links to peoples designs
Helen, this is a great multi-question. As Martine said - it has been asked many different times - more than likely - will be asked many more, too.
I like to use a mesh cut-away on my T-shirts - I hoop the stabilizer (mesh cut-away) then use a light spray adhesive and place my T-shirt on top of the hoop and pin in place if necessary - then stitch away - then cut-away the stabilizer from the back of the T-shirt, leaving a small amount on the outside of the embroidery.
I change needles about every 8 hours of embroidery work.
Now, the problem with tagging this - would be - we can't just bring back up the questions that we tag - as we did in the past.
Those questions have been asked and answered before, but they are difficult to find again, tagged or not tagged.
As for stitching t-shirts, Emblibrary has tutorials on stitching on different materials, from the lightest fabric to balsa wood. Have a look there. I added the link.
I just thought it would be a good idea to have a common tagged thread for all these questions some of the newer cuties are asking. Personally I have no trouble at the moment with any of the fabrics
