This is a very good idea :o)
I also pass posts that have just a single phrase and you have to drag everything out of the questioner (and often they did not read their own post regularly to look for their answers. Without the "my answers"-tab this is a pain...xxx ;o).

Good thoughts. Don't think I will respond to inquiries that are lacking in information and waste my time.. I see several people who take time to "pry" enough info to help a person and admire their patience.
Keep up the good work Cuties.
Very good, a lot of the questions do come out very generic.
Thanks. I'm guessing with not enough data a lot of people just pass up the post when possibly they knew machine or software and could easily answer.

well we can't always think of that, usually because we are pre-occupied with what ever the problem is in the first place! I know I sure can't see why you need all of that info the model number? what for? Excuse me for asking these questions but I honestly don't know!I too am not a mind reader either & I'm also sure that I don't even know where it is?LOL
We need data because each brand of machine is different. I would only answer Bernina questions because that is what I have. There are at least 10 other brands I know nothing about except their name. Also older machines dont use flash drives.

My machine says right on front that it is a Brother SE-350, you don't need the whole serial number or anything.
