Thank you it is beautiful - as always. Let us join together, worldwide, in a cuppa!.
I found a neat little British pot that had my husband's name on it - it was for Charles Wells liquor! Haven't decided whether to leave like this or make into a lamp! Isn't life strange.
I am so anxious to try your designs. They are beautiful. Have never used the ripple effect. can't wait. Thank you
Okay, I went back and looked and see part of my problem with these patterns. The hummingbird/flower ripple design was from a different designer. All the rest I tried to download was from basketkase designs. For some reason, and I have not figured this out yet, these will not download for the pes format. So if you would be so kind to help me with this I would appreciate it. Thank you
After DL the PES file I have to open all basketkase's designs in Wilcom Truesizer (free) and then save them as PES and they work fine. Marg
These patterns are so neat but I need some help. I tried to download this pattern and several others to a floppy disk in PES format. I downloaded the hummingbird/flower and it did just fine. I downloaded four others onto the same floppy, put it in my machine and there was nothing there. Hoping somone can give me some hints on why this is happening. Thank you.
Thank you for all the beautiful ripple designs you have given, love them
Thanks a lot - looks like belonging to a fairy!
So superfine - thank you very much again - Maria

Well, I guess this answered my question ... maybe. A Brown Betty is the name for a teapot?? It's so precious, I just love it. My Mom (God rest her) collected teapots, but mostly German and Czech, with a few fine English passed down in the family. Is this English?? Or something we sturdy Americans came up with?
Anyway, my friend, thank you!! 'She' is beautiful.
Hugs

This is such a classic teapot! Thank you! I wish I had the space to collect real teapots. They are so interesting!
interesting ~~~~ did you digitize this from the snap shot below or did you draw it ? thanks
I hand sketched it after seeing the pic and scanned my sketch into computer the digitized my sketch....thanks for asking.
I don't know any other way to explain it..
I sketch a piece that I like, then scan my sketch into my computer so I can digitize it...
Please explain ~~~ I do not understand ! ~~~ i am sorry that I am so slow to comprehend ~~~ You seen this snap shop, you copied it, then you had your computer emb program digitize it ? Is this right ?
~
No, I drew a picture of a Brown Betty teapot with flowers on it and scanned my drawing into my computer so I could digitize it.......enough said.....
Sorry, I do not mean to be such a pain, but your digitized design looks exactly like the snap shot, flowers are in the exact same spot etc so you drew a drawing of the snapshot ??~~~ I guess I am just trying to understand. I am so new to all this and an trying to get a grasp on the legal boundaries. I would like to try my hand at digitizing !! ~~~~ Sorry for asking so many questions ~~~~
Thank you so much I really appreciate all you hard work and generosity :)
Yes, my friend, you certainly saved the best for last and I thank you. Thought you might be interested to see my Brown Betty. Bought at Harrods many years ago. There were so many to choose from but I loved this one with the picnic scene lid. I often use it as it makes a wonderful 'cup of tea'. Hugs Sarah.
Lovely! Thank you for sharing a photo of it. I've never heard of a Brown Betty. My Mom actually collected teapots, but mostly German and Czech.
Brown Betty teapots - my first love in teapots.
Thank you so much for doing this one and sharing it.

Oh I love this one. The addition of the flowers makes it especially yours. You do such a nice job. Thank you Vicki for sharing with all of us.
Love this design as well. Thanks bunches for all that you do for us cuties :)
Lovely - this is the type of teapot I have, but it is just brown, no flowers!! Thank you for the design!!
