Embird Users: Can anyone explain why, when I try to d/l designs from Cute (and usually only the Cute or sister sites), Embird is launched when I try to d/l my jef file? I don't know what I changed to cause this to happen. I'm able to d/l jef files on other sites. Any ideas? Thanks Denise

I know the file associations can be set to use a certain program for certain file types. Maybe a file assoc. was set to open Embird for .jef files.

The puzzling thing is it only happens when I d/l from Cute, not other places.

I use Firefox and I know there is a box you can mark/check when DL'g a file where it says "do this for files like this from now on", if you mark that box you won't get asked again what to do with those files (jef in your case).. If you're also using firefox you can change it back to asking you what to do with the file by going Tools -- Options -- Applications tab, now scroll down and look for jef, and change the drop down to "always ask". hth :) xXx
