Ladies,
If you are interested in the pattern and directions for this one-tie purse, then send me a PM with your name and email address and I will try to get it to you as soon as I can....Several have sent PMs to me about the info, but I need your email address....thanks.
These look wonderful, a great way to use up unused ties that have some wonder fabrics.
That is what I thought when I first saw the project, we have some beautiful silk ties that have never been used. This was an old tie to practice on. Bev
WONDERFUL job!! Really looks great! I agree with you...Dianne is a great long distance teacher!!
How sweet of you, but it also takes a great student to make a teacher look good...lol....
wow. It looks stunning. Would never guess it came from a tie. Great work Bev. Lyn. xx
Love it and the strawberries are looking just great.siles hugs and flowers
wow this is just terrific, a silk purse without the silk price tag! My dh has a few old ties hanging (lol) around too. I would also like to learn how this is done
Thank you, you may not be able to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear but you can out of an old tie. Check out my answer to hightechgrammy
I HAVE to learn how to do this!!!! It's adorable and so very interesting!!! Please will you teach us too?!?!! Beautiful combination of fabric and designs, colors and textures! Jan
Thank you Jan. This is a Project from quilter124, perhaps if you PM her she will send it to you too, but with all your quilting experience you won't have to bother her with dumb questions like I did (lol), Bev
Love it - could you post a link to the directions?
Thank you. Sorry, there is no link to the directions, we had to send a PM to quilter124 and she very kindly sent them to us, and in my case did some long distant tuition, Bev.
OH,Bev, Like it...I love it...this is just beautiful. The strawberries give it a completely different look and your placements are right on...It will be hard for someone to see this and not ask questions... You did a fantastic job and I am very proud of your work.
Hope the flooding is not so bad now. You were a great student to guide and you did exceptional with long distant teaching...
Thank you so much for all your guidance Dianne, I am glad you approve. Things have settled down around here but some areas have a long cleanup ahead of them when the waters recede. Bev
