Mother Daughter dresses. A while back I made a beautiful pillowcase dress for a little girl and posted it here. Well her mother wanted one to match. (yes it's coming back in to fashion)LOL... So here is her dress. She is a BIG woman at 5"11. this is actually not a dress but a long top she wanted to go with leggin's. (didn't want it to look muu muu looking or maternity looking) It's also folded back at the sleeves so you can't tell how big the size it, but it turned out really cute. I had to do some adjustments to the neckline and sleeves. Also I used elastic on the ribbons so it gathers without bulk.

thanks Carolyn, she loved it. She was thrilled with it actually. Which made me relieved. I normally don't do adults, because, you have to be more precise with the fit than children. ;) I also made the little boy a matching onesie with tie. I'll list it too.

Do you mind tell me how you made this for a woman. I would like one or two for myself for the summer. thanks

Thanks You. You make it the same way as a childs, only your armholes are larger and the length is longer. I think I had a tutorial in "You" embroidery on this. However, this particular dress was from a pattern "New Look" #6047. Because I needed a size 22 (American)This is 4 panels. (With a few adjustments for my customer.) When making the one like the children, you would have only two panels with the seams on the sides. With the children, it is only one seam in the back. Hope that isn't too confusing. :)
