Thank you girls.... sounds like I must remember to chase down mops with all my questions :) .... hmmmm ., is that her I see running away...lol
I had a look at the trial version of studio last night. Wow I have a lot of reading to do.!!!
I know very little about digitizing but I just wanted to congratulate you on your purchase. Looking forward to seeing what you produce. Sarah.
I only have basic Embird and its Iconizer plug-in, but I do not know how I ever did machine embroidery without them!! I love Embird. Best value for the money!!

Hi Kitty, I have basic Embird, Iconizer and Font engine, and I love them and use them all the time. I have just bought Studio but have not learnt how to use it yet. I need to make time to play with it. I have ideas I want to digitise but can't yet, hopefully in the not too distant future. Cheers, Bev.
I don't have Studio yet. I have the basic and iconizer and think I will get the font part next.
A very wise choice. I have the font engine and the studio./Lillian
Hi Kitty - I do not have Studio as I am not interested in digitising. I am sure that Mops will be able to advise you - have a chat to her about what embird can do. Good luck - embird is in my opinion the best value for money. I will also send you a PM.
Hmmmm.... I thought there were more embird users out there :( ......I'd really like to know how the digi bit works with jpeg pics.. an anyone done it ???
Congrasts on Embird. You're going to love it. I'm learning to do some digitizing with mine.
I would say...play with what you have now, and you can upgrade later. I also have Studio for digitizing, and font engine. I had the more expensive software, and all I use now is Embird. I love it.

You will not be sorry with your embird. I only use that - never ever refer to the software that came with my machine. Iconizer is a MUST - but you have that. Depending on what you sew mostly, Font engine is also nice. You will be able to add verses, poems, names etc to your work. Enjoy embird - it is in my opinion the BEST.
Thanks olly.,
I'm wanting (stepping out of my comfort zone here) to try doing my own designs from pictures I have. You know like a Jpeg image.
Can that be done with embird?
