My husband and I are leaving Saturday to visit Las Vegas. Are there any Cuties in the area? And do any of you have any advice of what to see or not to do? Thanks.

I saw Elton John and Celine Dion recently. Both were fabulous. If you want dinner before a show make a reservation early.

Do not wander beyond the main strip it's really not a great part of town. If you want to see other things besides the strip that are further away that's fine just not the city blocks that are just beyond the main strip.

Most hotels have a list of things to do and what hour they happen. For example the water show in front of the Bellagio (only a few minutes long) and the Sirens of TI (dancing ladies and men on a pirate ship outdoors). The Fountains were pretty but nothing compared to Disneyland's World of Color water show.

The Forum Shops at Caesar's is a very large mall with mostly high end stores and fabulous food. (Specialty chocolate restaurant upstairs!) Although there is also a 3 story H&M there. DO NOT wear high heels or tiny spike heels as the floors are stone and the heels will get stuck or slip. If you ever wanted to try on Manolo Blahnik shoes, now is your chance.

Dress is mostly casual and you will do a lot of walking. Some people dress up for shows or dancing but you don't have to and I still don't recommend the heels because there is still a lot of walking to do.

Check out the Paris and Venetian hotel interiors. The ceilings are amazing.

Have fun!

One more thing. If you need to drive or take a cab from 1 hotel to another along the strip just before show times, the traffic gets terrible. Leave yourself over an hour for the trip.

The pirates show, the Bellagio, and of course a burlesque show. Keep your people close, if it is busy on the strip. and have a great time! Live Laugh Download Stitch! I wonder if the Star Trek show is still there.

We've been there twice and still haven't seen half of it! It is quite a place! Have fun and enjoy yourself.
The water display in front of the Bellagio is awesome.
