Well here I sit nervous nelly - I'm having surgery on my heel this afternoon. I tore my achille tendon when in Tampa with hubby for Americas Got Talent. Looks like the prize we won is surgery for me! Needless to say I'm a little nervous. It's nothing compared to other cuties but I'm nervous just the same. Wish me luck......(ouch)

Dear Karen, I do wish you luck with this. I had Achille's Tendon reattachment surgery 5 years ago. It took a long time for mine to heal. You will need to rest it for a while and use crutches. Mine was mangled, so that's why it took so long. I do pray that your recovery will be quicker than mine. I hope hubby went well with America's Got Talent. Love and blessings Chris

U'r a brave girl and will be fine. I do wish you luck and will pray for a speedy recovery. U have much to be thankful for, it could have been a hand surgery and that's worse, now u can still sit and quilt or sew or embroider with one foot on a stool. No motorbike for a while but that will also pass. Good luck and keep us posted. Hugs.
