I like to use Durable Thread So I choose polyester Quality Serelon or Isacord for its laudry capability.

I have used both embroidery and regular thread and both worked fine , just match your bobbin to what ever type of thread you use and make sure you have the correct needle for that thread. Good luck.

You can use whatever thread you like best. If you want it elegant or have a shiny look then use the Rayon. If you want it to look more like quilting, use a cotton. Try a bit on a sample and see what you like the best.
