Not a big thing here in SA. Different if one is of Irish descent. I do not have any St Patrick designs.
I made shamrock charms to give to the people at my table at the Anita Goodesign event I am attending today and tomorrow. I got them as a freebie from Criswell that a Cutie shared last week.
Here in England we don't celebrate St Patrick's day (except perhaps with Irish music in the pub!) Mind you, we don't do much for St George's day either and he is our own patron saint!
Funny thing is Sue, we celebrate it all here in Spain lol, within the British community ofcourse. Off to a party tomorrow night for St Patricks day
No, but I'm going to plant my Sweet Peas tomorrow. They will be lovely come late winter early Spring.
"Sweet Peas - February, March and April are the best months to plant sweet peas in all Australian climates, but traditionally Australians sow their sweet pea seeds on St. Patrick's Day (March 17)." Excerpt from Burke's Backyard book. Love Chris
I made my GD a shirt and a purse to match. But to busy to post it..
