My DH complimented me yesterday for having a low amount on the MC. I reminded him I had been sick for 2 months. Going on a road trip here would only get me into deep, deep trouble. I have finally learned how to shop on the internet. Put everything thing in the shopping cart, go to check out and, hit the X button. If it is still there a week later the sales are usually over or I've changed my mind. LOL
This would be to much temptation for me right now.
OH! Is there an X button? hehehe.... I haven't learned that yet. LOL... Actually keeping the grandsons, has put a BIG dent in my and DH pocket...
WOW!!! I wish I had one here where I live;>)
it really is nice to have this close to your doorstep. (1 hrs for me) but worth the trip.
Their website looks like it might not be up and running at the moment. What are the prices like? Looks like a sewing paradise!!!
Oh it's up and running, but just not the easiest to surf around. But if you are looking for something in particular you can call and see if they have it. Their prices are a little under Paducah's prices
Id be so overwhelmed I'd probably come out with nothing.
AlmaG.
LOL, Alma, I've done that, but went back. hehehe, yesterday through me for a loop because I wasn't expecting the change so I was overwhelmed. I had to learn the layout again. LOL...
Glad you are still with us but I can see why you nearly got lost. Think I would loose track of time in a place like this
One could easily get lost there. I lost my daughter a couple of times. LOL...
I would absolutely love to visit this shope for at least a couple of days. Maybe some day! Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Not as much fun as going in person but she does have a web site.
Thanks Bev. I probably should have added that yesterday, but wasn't thinking. too tired from the trip. LOL....
Thanks for adding the website. I'll probably never get to visit, but I sure might order online.
WOW...AND...WOW...
How are the prices??? estimate?
IKR??? The prices range from 5.99 to 8.99. I did see some cotton for 9.50 which was rare, however if you are looking for bridal and such, the prices start at 3.00 and up to 45.00... But I'm sure y ou are wanting cotton right? Her prices are still the best for what you are getting. She carries, timeless treasures, MM, Kaffe, kaufman, Cornell, and lots of others. ;)
Okay, Terre, you have each one of us drooling!! Looks like a great place for all the Cuties to meet one day!! What fun it must be to be there. Hugs, Laura*
Now Laura, I told you when you and DH were down south to give me a call and I'd meet you and we could go there. hehehheee. I'm actually still recouping from yesterday. It is a lot of walking and even though I start out good, I end up unable to move the next day. LOL... Hips and ankles really hurting...The price I pay for beautiful fabric. hehehe.
I live within shopping distants planing on a trip for my birthday.
Let me know when and I'll meet you there. DeVon said she wanted to go to... Maybe we could get together...
I've simply got to get over there one of these days. I have a lot of Shuford and McCoy kin in that area, livig and buried. thanks for the pics./Lillian
lillian let me know when you plan to go there and if I can I will come there to
Lenamae
Lillian and LenaMae, let me know and I will meet you both also. Devon and Jenne are wanting to come. We could make it a Cute Gathering. ;)
I would love a shopping spree! What a fun place to visit! It looks so organized and neat. My store was a mess when I went into it! Stocking boxes all over!
Shopping spree with maybe $10K? hehhee... Yes Mary Jo operates like a well oiled machine!
Oh boy I would love to spend a day there.
Hugs Joann
I live in Pleasant Garden, NC. How do I get there??? Would love to go. DeVon
DeVon, get on 85 and go past Charlotte toward Gastonia, it is on Cox Rd. Exit. Get off that exit take a left, go across the overpass and to the redlight, turn right and you will see it on the right at the end of the shops... Let me know if you want to meet up sometime. I would have to be there in morning as I have grandsons I pick up from school. I'm an hr. away from Gastonia. It's worth the drive.
DeVon,
That will make a wonderful trip. Hope you go and share your goodie pictures with us. Have fun!
Can I go with you - It would only take me about 3 days drive to get there.....
It is good I am not living close to that shop. It would be a disaster for my bank account!
Very true, I really had to reel myself in yesterday. Times are tough and I have to be tougher too. LOL....
What a place and dangerous to pocketbook
funny you should say that! LOL... I don't know how many bolts of fabric I would hang on to, and then come cutting time, I put it back. hehehe. Decisions, Decisions...LOL....
I could spend lots of money in a place like this. Maybe I need to take a road trip!! LOL Hugs, Mary
Mary, come on over! I'll meet you there. LOL... Just give me a chance to recoup from yesterday. hehehe.
What a shop ! i don't think we have something like that in Belgium. You can spent hours, no days in here I guess
LOL... You are right about spending days in there. It isn't just cottons, but bridal and upholstery and all inbetween. hehehe.
It really isn't fair showing me this unattainable paradise!
You are so lucky. Maybe I can be transported there too.
Wonder if I wish hard enough and click my heels if I will be transported there. I miss exploring stores like this. Enjoy.
hehehe, Karen, When you head to Fl. again, go around about way and stop by. LOL...It's worth it. and about 5 miles from there is the thread store I mentioned last year. :)
Fantastic!
My kind of shop.
I would love to get "lost" in this place.
Happy Shopping!
Hugs Bev
I love going, but don't go often because it is too hard on my joints. I'm paying for it today. hehehe.
Did you spend-up BIG? Plenty of choices in this store. ~~Marg~~
Wished I had the money to spend in this store. However, what little I go, DH wouldn't know because of the stash I have at home.lol
