embroidery library has some. emblibrary.com/hope this helps.:)
I was just searching some of the links that our other cutie friends have loaded for us to look at. On one of the links I noticed she had Japanese symbols mentioned. You might try this site. I think you will probably have to copy and paste the address though. http://cindysembroiderydesigns.co...
Hope it helps. Mylinda-
Sorry - look under bits and pieces. If she doesn't have what you want - she may know where you can get it. Good luck.

Yoriko uploaded a complete set of kanji in DBC some years ago Ans some words as well. Google manami, her avatar, and you might find them.
There are some here on cute but I don't know how far back you'd have to go to find them. There's quite a few.

Here is a search at sewforum on Kanji.
I found them, however I went to hyfis house to find the link, and could not find them. You may want to email her, because I know this is what you want.
The designs in DbC were created by Yoriko and she is Japanese, she also has some Japanese words I am sure on her website. Japan has 3 different alphabets, Kanji, Hiranga and Katakana
Anna Bove or ABC have a chinese caligraphy set. Of the free ones available, you must try to get all the words from one source (even then it may not be the same) as they are done differently But the source above is quite a nice set. It's called Chinese caligraphy. Hugs Elizabeth
Try the google custom search engine on the community page. Enter the word: kanji
Thanks sewmom I tried them all..no luck and I need Japanese as it is for a Karate Gee ( uniform ) and so that is different from Chinese..I will try embroidery library and see what they have. thanks Cricket 17
Hmmm I don't really know the difference in the Japanese and Chinese symbols. How do you know what to look for?
Hi sewmon - how you doin'. Believe me there is a difference - can't really explain it but when you know you'll know!
Easiest for me is to say Japanese looks like shrthand as opposed to Chinese which has more strokes to each symbol. There is also a mothod in doing the stroke whether they start at top with a sweep down or visa versa. Am I just rambling or do I make sense.
method in the brush stroke, the wides part of the stroke is the start. Sometimes they start at the top and sometimes at the bottom. I have downloaded some and found from the same source two different methods of wrting. So to be uniform you need to get someone to look at the words to see if they right. Being Chinese and seeing the words (ashamed to say can't read write or speak)I can recognised the difference as my mom has lots of books. As I was saying, how you doing sewmom? My grandD is growing laughing and giggling on video. We hope to visit in another year or so. So is due to become UScitizen. Love to your fam
