There is a picture tutorial on the Skeldale Website that shows how she puts the FSL Bells together.
You ight want to look at it and see if that helps you.

Thank you. A little bit different than what came with the design. In the end I'm going to stitch them all out and have three friends offered to help me hand stitch them. Seems my old sewing machine I wanted to stitch them together while the embroidery machine stitched them out is skipping stitches. I have a sad face as I crushed my hand when I was ten and it is giving me problems as it does every spring and fall.

Thanks to all of you for assembling instructions. Was having an off day and found the instructions. They indicated to rinse, dry, iron and then showed the Step-by-step instructions which I didn't do as in their pictures. Well for those that said assemble before rinsing that is a more reasonable solution with having to make quite a few of them.
Sew together before you rinse the stabiliser, much easier to do so - I always do that - good luck.
I agree, sew together before washing out the stabiliser. I found that Mum roll-on deodorant bottles were perfect shape and size and shape for these bells to be shaped and dried on. Good luck with them, take your time, they will be beautiful. Bev
Thanks, after Carolyn's post I went looking for some caps and these bells are too tiny for what I found tonight. Will look for more options in the morning.
Forgot to say don't worry if you pull them out of shape while stitching, they can be pulled back in shape quite easily.
Thank you. The shape wasn't my worry it was getting them to stitch up more easily. lol I still like the simplicity of the flat FSL where you can give it a bit of shape.
I always rinse and let dry and then stitch together with zig zag.
i would sew them togeather before bathing them and leave them to dry over a container like pop bottle or something like that hugs caroplyn
Thanks. You mean a twist off Soda Pop bottle. Sounds perfectly little enough for them and would give me an excuse to buy one. lol
I usually sew things like this by hand after washing and drying, but if I would do a larger item on sewing machine I would leave the stabilizer as is, sew and then rinse and dry. I wouldn't try to sew damp on a sewing machine. Just my humble opinion-I'm sure there are lots of other opnions out there.
Thanks. Thought that if I did it damp it would shape better knowing the sewing machine wouldn't work to good on damp.
This was just my sample one that I e-mailed to the bride to be to see if she wanted me to continue. She loved them but we are our own worst critic and I wasn't happy with the first one.
