oh yes, lbrow, so glad I got it done and yes, this lovely, sweet and helpful group of ladies are truly wonderful. So glad I'm a part of this CUTE group. ***4u and all!
Result of my FSL calla lily from EMB Library: It came out great-although it's still drying. I used 2 layers of solvy heavyweight WSS. On the sides and the flower part I placed pieces of meshy Floriani floating on top and I also slowed down my machine speed to medium (that was a killer - LOL - the faster the better). Many many thanks and flowers to all of you for your great advice. ******
I use Solvy heavy weight and seldom have a problem. However, I did have a problem with the Star of David FSL bookmark from Emb. Lib. Messed up twice and haven't tried it again. That's the first of their designs that have messed up for me.
Coco, I too was going to tell you to try H2O BeGone wss. I can get it at WalMart. That is all I use and I love it. I have used the Slovy Heavyweight wss, did not like it as well. Good luck and EmbLibrary is a great site I know they will help you if needed! Sue
thanks so much. I will look into H20 at our WalMart here. I too have never really been crazy about Solvy Heavyweight. I did a heart FSL before and it made holes and a great big mess so that's why I went with the meshy
floriani recommended by my sewing machine retailer.

Have you tried H2O wss. I really like to use that. But if you have trouble contact Deb she is very helpful. A flower for you.
coco, what are you stitching out - whose design? If two layers doesn't work - try three. If that doesn't work - contact the designer. I hope this helps. *4U
EMB library calla lily bookmark - it's my favorite flower and it's quite beautiful if it didn't have the pulling away on the left side. What do you think of Solvy heavyweight WSS? Any opinion on the Floriani, was told they have great products. thanks for your help ... **4u
Shirlene, I did stitch it out one time on organza and looks good, but of course not great looking because I can't trim close enough with the scalloping, etc.-so I get alot of organza along the edges so it doesn't look clean.
Oh - dear one, maybe you can use one of those tools - that burn away the little frayed parts.
Try emailing Deb at embroidery library. I believe she is quite good at replying and helping people out. I have done a few of their bookmarks with similar problems - but not all the time. (I haven't emailed them yet, I thought it was me! )
Yes, I actually thought of that also, but like you thought maybe I should try one more time-LOL. ***4u
do let us know if you figure it out. I don't have that many choices of WSS in New Zealand. Would love to be able to get that plastic film looking one you girls use but haven't found it here.
Don't know how to answer, but I saw your birthday of Jan 28 in your profile. I'll put a reminder to Raels.
I just read your other posting... I got one of their bookmarks and had a TERRIBLE time... I would send Shirlene an email... she has posted a ton of Embroidery Library bookmarks in the projects.
Which design are you trying to stitch Coco?
it's the calla lily bookmark ... and yes I was thinking of e-mailing shirlene - FSL Queen-LOL. thanks for responding. I'm actually quite surprised from EMBLibrary, but now you say you had problems also, well makes me think it's not me. ***4u
