Okay, Terre, you've got me - what is an OOAK? I am probably the only one who doesn't know, but I will be brave and ask anyway!! By the way, I love the dress - it is adorable!! Hugs, Laura*
hehehe.... Thanks Laura.... Listen, don't be embarrassed, I didn't know for a long time and then when I found out it took forever for me to actually remember. LOL... It means One of a Kind. :)
I love the style of this dress. May I ask what pattern you used?
this is just a basic jumper pattern with no buttons/zippers and just used binding around the neck and sleeves. I used the part of a McCall's pattern that I've had for many years. But I'm sure if you look at a pattern book you will find this silhouette. It is one that never goes out of style for little ones. They just use different fabrics and embellishments. This pattern did call for a ruffled trim, but I really didn't have enough of the aqua fabric to make that, so I made it like I would a pillowcase dress. LOL...
Like the flower-very cute dress
Thank you. The flower was made from the individual petals found in the Scrapbook section of Hobby Lobby. I used the colors of the dress and glued them onto a piece of felt. Also took a sparkly brad and fixed it in the middle. LOL....
great job love the fabric
Thanks, I got the fabric at Mary Jo's last year. LOL... Just now getting to make something. LOL...
