It is beautiful! 1 question, did you fused the blocks on to the polar fleece or quilt them on! Thanks for sharing! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
the flowers were fused onto the fabric then i zigzaged around the edges. the design calls for slits to be cut into the flowers but the next one will not have that done as the fabric tends to lift. so it will be left entire and not cut the center yoyos will hold the fabric down with no problem then, the polar fleece is the backing and i embroidered a flowere quilt block onto the center sections leaveing the outer border quilted in lines, i only fused the floweres to the front blocks, i used the smaller flower tempate for this quilt
I hope this will help you when you creat your own flowere boxs quilt
the fleece was the backing and i machine embroidered floral circules onto the center 12 blocks leaveing the border to be quilted with lines
Beautiful. I love the fabrics you chose for the flowers. I have this pattern and made it with batiks. I like yours. The purpose behind it is more meaningful too.
Waht a beautiful thought! The quilt is wonderful also! Thanks for sharing this lovely with all of us!
how lovely ! did it take long time to sew it ?
it took me just over two months to get this done but hubby was taken ill during that time hence the time span. the longest part is cuting the flowers out after that it was plain sailing. well almost. annie
