I love owls, this one is lovely and I don't see anything that can be improved. Hugs.
He is adorable and well worth the effort. think how much longer it would take if it was done all by hand lol.
I think it actually would be quicker. Most of the time is placing the fabric and cutting close to the edges.
I think the extra work shows in the details like the eyes. Very nice job. Looking forward to seeing your others done!
Don't hold your breath waiting. Have gone off sewing at the moment. Just can't make myself.
It´s very cute.I just love owls. Today I will some of them as potholders. I will try to make them a little bit larger (Sorry for my english, I know it´s not very godd, but I hope you can get some of it)
Did you put 2 folded pieces overlapped like a cushion back on the back of the owl . It sits a lot better than putting a solid piece on the back. I have tried both methods and find the first one sits better. Regards Joyce
He is cute , but way too much time. I guess mine would be "one of a kind"
I love your owl and the fabrics you used! Does anyone have a link to this design on Secrets? I have looked and am not able to find it! Thanks! Keep up the lovely work!

i love the fabrics you used, they all are just perfect in the place you used them, he is just so cute
Thank You. Went through my fabrics and sorted the greens. My problem then -- which ones will I use???
This is a beautiful owl.....no wonder it took 4 hours!! I understand, though, how laborious it is to work on one project for so long!!
This is so cute and love your color combinations!! Time consuming but well worth it!!Keep on stitchin'!!!
And on further looking at him .. wouldn't he make a wonderful mate as a purse to go with Sue's cutie?? HMMM...have to go to secrets and check these out!split back pc. and insert zipper before joining??? We will see!
He is sooooooooooo cute!!! Love your choice of fabrics. Well worth the time and trouble.
Well i love him Lynn :):) hugs and keep going at our age we still can learn new things the younger folks do lol hugs
I LOVE IT! Even though it took so long to do, he is just too cuddly and cute for words. Love and blessings Chris
Oh WOW...it is sooo delightful and you used my favorite color too!
Had to go to my hordes of fabric and couldn't believe how much green I have. Wanted to do a brown as well but surprisingly I don't have a lot of browns and I love browns.
That's a lot of steps but the end results are excellent and nice details.
I have pulled parts of it out to the correct shape but they just keep popping back in -- like on the wings. Maybe by the time I have finished the 6 the 6th one will be perfect. Fingers crossed. Love the eyes.
