Small table quilt

I did some stippling (can't see it on the front because of the black material. And I love my new clover clips.. so handy when you do your binding... best buy ever... for quilting off coarse :)

now I see the pink & the black are joined together. It looks lovely. Can I ask, how did you get the dark pink around the patchwork top? From the bottom I can see 2 rows of stitches? Have you used ribbon? I'm getting very excited because I could use ribbon on a triangle patchwork to hide where the corners don't quite match up. Off to play. xxx

Lyns, I first make the small blocks, then I sew it together with a zig zag stitch.. then I put the top, wadding and backing together.. pin it and then I did the "in the ditch" stitching around each block, after that I sew the boarders(black) together.. and then the binding.. Hope you understand?? enjoyyyyy xxx
