I have the same problem, and it started happening after an update. Try RIGHT clicking on the file itself and then selecting "save as" and save it that way. It works for me. In fact, I don't even bother trying to save any other way for .pdf files anymore. I hope this helps. I know how frustrating this can be. Good luck!!
I had this the other day. There is a box that was checked on my printer page that said to "Print to file". I un-checked it and it printed fine after that.
When you bring the file up in Adobe you will have a selection bar appear across the document, if you choose the printer from there it usually works... worth a try...Glenda
I am not sure if this helps. Recently I had performed an Adobe update and after that none of my PDF files would work. I transferred them to a USB and checked them on another computer and there was nothing wrong with the files. I used "restore" on my computer to get me back before the update and everything worked fine after that.
That's one of the reasons I don't update unless I have too! I'm happy, leave it alone it if's not broken!
