Would'nt your best clothes look really lovey pegged on the line with these peg cosies. LOL ggggg Shirley
Thanks for replies. I saw it posted on the designs by cuties this morning It was called a cat peg cosie and it was submitted by lique. I should have mentioned this in the first question I posted.
I stick a magnet on the peg and use it to pin notes on the fridge, Don't ask me why they are called cozies. I bought a set on emb lib and that is what they calle them. You can also put them on your desk and keep papers together. Just a fun way of pinning something up.
Never heard them referred to as Pin(Peg )cosies.I've only heard pin bags. But here's 2 examples. The are normally kept by door so when you go outside to hang laundry they are handy. My things are OLD, last one is an applique.
It slips over a spring type clothes pin. You place a magnet on the back of the c pin and then you can use it to post items on metal, such as mentioned the refrigerator. I believe I first saw them on Embroidery Library(I think). Just like you clip clothes on the clothes line.
Got me, don't have a clue. Bet our English or Aussie gals might know. Heard of a thing called a 'tea cosy' you put on your teapot to keep it warm. I guess it would help if I knew in what context 'peg' was being used. I think our British friends call clothes pins "clothes pegs", and then of course there's "Peg-Leg Pete"... But to me a peg is something sticking out of the wall I hang my jacket on, and I'd suppose my jacket would keep it "cosy" enough...Anybody? You've aroused my curiosity for sure now, really would like to know. Hugs, Marji
I had a look at emblibrary. They are the note holders for the fridge. Don't know why they call them a cozy?
There are the new designs that have the clothes pin that goes on the back to hold notes and list on your refrigirator but I'm not sure that would be called a peg cosie? Or is it a bag of some some type that holds clothespins or pegs as some call them. It has something to do with clothespin is all I know.
