It seem if you bought both cards from a dealer they should help you get them transferred. I think the Magic Box has that capability but it has been so long since I had one that I can't remember for sure. Good luck, we pay so much for these designs it is a shame to not be able to use them.
The alphabets have the letters in sub-files which you can't open, not in Brother or any other software.
I know that you can't copy Brother cards to a computer to use on another non Brother Machine. If you can load the designs into your computer, then into a program to convert them, then you may be able to convert them from Bernia to PES
Is there any way you could load the bernina card to your computer? than convert to pes and load to a card that would fit your machine. That is what I'd try!
That is what I've been doing with the Magic Box, but the alpha sets are compressed and I cannot separate them.
I also have a Magic Box which I use all the time. I am sure that there is no way to copy an original Bernina card. I may be wrong. Let us hope that someone knows for sure. Sarah.
But you can copy other design cards to your format card, can't you, with the Magic Box? The problem, I'm thinking, is condensed sets of alphabets and the machine or computer can't separate the letters. I tried in Embird and in My Editor, but couldn't save them as a set.
Do you have any digitizing software. The file system (organizer) may be robust enough to do the job!
Yes, I have PE Design v5. I will get out my manual & see if I can find any info--I suspect not since I am using Magic Box to do the transfer.
